i think this is a bad match for jmm..i definitely can see him winning this fight because malignaggi has no power and he has better combinations...but i don't see jmm stoppin paulie who took cotto's punishment for 12 rounds..and paulie seemed in good shape against diaz..jmm looked bad against floyd when he weighed what 142 so i'm interested to see how he does at 140..i think this fight would be more exciting than people are making it out to be.

You also have Guzman and Campbell but I just see Malignaggi as the better known fighter at 140(that is available).

Exactly, this would a be a great fight, Marquez always comes to fight and although Paulie is more of a boxer he tends to get careless sometimes and trade when he doesn't have to.

yes i agree...paulie talks a lot but at times is not scared to mix it up...both are coming off losses and both will come to fight...malignaggi can also hype any fight haha...i wouldn't mind seeing this fight..

JMM still holds that WBO Lightweight belt. and I don't think it would be a bad idea at all for Marquez to get that defense out of the way

before moving back up in weight.

Malignaggi does good against straight forward fighters. Lets not forget he almost lost to Ndou when he boxed.

Marquez is old and isn't fast enough at 140...Paulie isn't gonna stand in front of him and fight him...Marquez would be chasing and be steps late all night IMO...

I just think its a bad style matchup...almost like him fighting a mini Floyd who engages even less but less defense...and boxes and moves all night long
