No he didn't, we all know who lost in the Sturm vs DLH fight.

By controversy, whether you like it or not. Personally I think he won close but some other people think OTHERWISE.

And Diaz doesn't have bigger fish to fry?? DOUBLE STANDARDS!! TYPICAL!!

    Diaz has plenty of options.
    Mention 1.

Even Savanahh says they are ****ed till 2010!!!!!!!!

Hell, even Soto could come up. That would be a total war!!!

Again , didnt Savanahh said besides Malignaggi they dont have anything till 2010?

Anyways all those matches you mentioned sounded very good!!!!!!!!!!

Still him and verybody knows they ****ed Maliggnaggi over in the negotiations the first fight and they still had to robbed the guy.

The sensable thing to do is fight with him at a neutral place!!!!

i think marquez/malignaggi's a good matchup & alot better fight than diaz/malignaggi. i remember how boring that fight was & how i actually stopped watching it in the tenth round thinking paulie had it in the bank & thinking there was no way he could lose. i mean the crowd was so quiet & juan really looked like a bum that night so i can see how paulie's so mad. he controlled the fight well with his jab & juan just couldnt get anything going, plus he just wasnt cutting the ring well on paulie. more like chasing him around while getting constantly stung with the jab all night. a very embarrassing night & another black eye for boxing...SHAME 2ALL INVOLVED in that mess

Diaz, and his manager Willie Savannah, were unhappy with the presented terms and turned down the fight. The two main issues were the money and the weight. From what I was able to find out, Diaz was going to make a little less than what he had earned for the August fight with Malignaggi. He wanted to make more. They were not happy about the proposed weight of 140-pounds. They wanted the fight to take place at 138.5; the same catch-weight as the August bout. [details]

                Paulie is full of trash..
Juan is a better boxer. He aint a **** like paulie!

Bull****. Diaz knows he didn't win that ****ing fight. Paulie is dead on 100% right. They know they have no shot if the rest of the terms are even this time. I say **** em'. Hopefully Malignaggi doesn't fold to their bull**** terms. Since this whole debacle, I've lost a lot of respect for Juan Diaz, and gained a ton of respect for Paul Malignaggi.

Of course a decent fight with some big names set to take place in Chicago would get cancelled. I swear man, this city never gets the big boxing events. It breaks my balls....

Malignaggi outboxed Juan Diaz, plain and simple, and he'd do it again. Until Diaz gets a new trainer, he's not changing his style anytime soon and the blueprint to dismantle him is already well known. Btw, I like Juan Diaz, but facts are facts.

Fight needs to happen. Chicago would have been a good (as in unusual, these days) place to stage it.
