It's abundantly clear what the company line was, and they were overlooking and undervaluing Loma the whole time. He actually called Osuna out for it during one of the prefight interviews.

I don't know why yet. There's a lot that they clearly knew about the fight that we didn't know, down to the details about giving Haney a secret weigh-in early so he'd have more time to rehydrate. We'll find out if Haney's still a Top Rank fighter in due time, no doubt, but the company line was very clear.

Look at the line of questioning post fight. "What did Haney do well that won him the fight?". They tried dropping that on Shakur because Shakur had said for months that Haney would win. But that backfired on then, and you could see it on the interviewer's face that he wasn't expecting Shakur to say that Loma had won, and they cut straight to Kellerman trying to argue that it wasn't a robbery.

If you don't understand what the company line was, you weren't paying attention.
Who cares Haney won you Loma fans are so disrespectful you never give his opponents their flowers. Haney is a novice to Loma just like Teófimo was. Both of them leading up to the Loma fight hadn’t fought anyone even remotely close to loma’s skill level .yet both of them dug deep and closed their fights on top. Loma losing the 12th to both fighters. If Loma doesn’t get the nod in a fight it’s a robbery and a conspiracy. Loma didn’t do enough to be called the undisputed. He won 5/6 rounds ., albeit very commanding the rounds he won

the first time u watch it u score it for the person u want to win, the 2nd time u focus more on the other guy to see if they did better than u thought, the 3rd time u refocus on your guy & convince yourself he won again, the 4th time u only focus on a few select swing rounds concentrating very hard, the 5th time u put all this together and emerge with the final result, so unless u have watched it 5 times and done all that leave it to the rest of us pros

vicious???? can't crack an egg and couldn't slow down an aging loma, but they were vicious?

As everyone keeps saying just rematch i don't see the big deal if Haney has faith he can beat him again i don't know why people would be against that idea it was a good fight regardless and lesser fights have rematches. Haney is 24 he has time to fight Tank/Shakur after so that's not a valid excuse to me.

Shakur is getting videos made about him left and right too from this community but i don't think cowers to them as he already had a run in with them when they interviewed him earlier in his career and he wasn't fully in with their agenda.
You don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s hard to keep an open mind with bias Joe Tessitore calling a Loma fight. The way he called the fight Loma out punched Haney 127 to 0.

The hilarious part of this thread is that the OP, who is probably a Haney fan, is trying to find support that Haney edged out the past-his-prime, smaller, older fighter as if that's some kind of achievement he should be proud of.

Devin just ain't that good. He should've done to Loma what Loma did Rigo if he was really THAT guy. He's not.

They tied in punches landed in the first round

Haney then outlanded Loma 4 times in the first 6 rounds.

Theoretically, by the numbers, you could have Haney winning 5 of the first 6 rounds.

At that point, you'd have to argue Loma won all 6 rounds in the 2nd half of the fight to have him winning.

I'm not saying Devin absolutely dominated him, but I'm saying statistically, it was a close fight, not a robbery, & for that reason, Loma's appeal isn't going to go anywhere & "robbery" claims are unfounded.

I had it a draw watching it at my cousins house with a few guys. I watched it Sunday night by myself and gave it to haney 7-5 with him winning the 12th round to secure the victory. I wouldn't have had an issue with 7-5 either way or a draw. They should run it back IMO, most people think Loma won and it will sell PPV's this time around for sure. That fight wasn't 9-3 though man lol

You know if you wanna use compubox as some kind of scoring system the fight would have been tied 5-5 with 2 even rounds lol

I knew the ****** would be blind and would defend their kid even knowing he lost.

His face was the same after Pedraza, enough said. Envious?
