Loma is a great boxer, he doesn't get respect from the same cast of characters here who only like or dislike fighters because of their skin color but I would take Pac and Mayweather to beat him at 130-135. Pac was too fast and powerful and Floyd was too slick and had better power at the lower weights and before his hands got brittle.

He started very late after an extremely long amateur career. That is why he doesnt have a developmental resume.

He also had 6 quasi pro fights that don’t appear on his pro resume from the AIBA. Make those regular pro fights as they shouldve been and now his resume has the names on it like pros that started younger.

Yes there are guys that unfairly call him a bum. That had happened to better fighters for the same reason. Pettiness comes out in arguments.

Manny pressed much harder than Loma and was totally vicious, he does not have the same problem as overrated Loma.

This was my first thought too. Manny went for it, I'm not sure whether it's Loma's head or age, but he just doesn't seem to be hungry enough in the two biggest fights he had.

I wonder why we have some people on this board (around 20%) who know Haney lost but due to some insecurities in life, still keep saying he won. They don't care they look like imbeciles, like crooked men, they just uphold a color.
