Does Cotto have to KO\TKO pac to Win???

Don't know if this has been talked about .......

I've been surfing the www and it seems to be a forgone conclusion that Pac will beat Cotto and face Mayweather for a potential Mega-fight.

Now I've been into boxing a long, long time and this kind of chatter coming from Networks, Promoters and those who have the influence to make it happen - makes me feel kinda uneasy about JUDGING during this fight.

And we all know how on the up & up, boxing can be at times.

It would seem that if Pac is his usual busy self, puts up a competitive fight and doesn't taste the canvas - he will most likely get the nod on the score-cards. While Cotto, not being the busiest fighter of the two and is not as talked about in terms of having a mega-fight on the horizon ... would need a KO\TKO.

So, the question is can Cotto get a decision against Pac - Who is the P4P BEST, The proclaimed Best Fighter Of This Generation and The guy who {If a Mayweather fight happens} can possible make all involved a HUGE amount of paper.

maybe a couple knockdowns would help..but I want a KO!..

Cotto isn't the fan favorite this time..surprisingly..so he shouldn't leave it to the hands of others to decide...he needs to go in to killer instinct mode and go for the KILL by the 9th!!..

edit* if Cotto does manage to KD Pacquiao with time left in the round..best believe he's goin for the KILL!..there's nothing that Pac can throw that would be able to move Cotto back if he's hurt or wobbled!!..

Maybe I am expecting to much from Cotto but all things considered I agree.

Yes, because even if Cotto wins more rounds he stands a good chance of being robbed on the cards. You already know the reason why: this is boxing business. In other words, Manny vs. Floyd is the biggest fight that can be made. No way they let a fight of such magnitude slip away.

Wise man. As I said, you already know the reason.

I think you have a point TS...Pac is more likely to secure a decision...Cotto has to go for the KO or at least a couple of knockdowns. But if its remotely close, look for a Pac decision.
