Dave Moretti is one of the best judges, in fact he is the best judge in the sport.
The reason fans and media are on his case is because he doesn't judge according to bias narratives or crowd reactions, Moretti sticks to the pure boxing.
That's why his scores are not popular.
I never seen a single incorrec scorecard by Moretti.
People on his case recently because of the 10-10 score of round 2 in the Tank vs Garcia fight.
But the draw score wasn't incorrect.
10-10 was incorrectly because that's not how you score it.
It was supposed to be 9-9.
People say Tank should have got the round because of the KD prove that they don't even know the rules of scoring.
The rules don't say you automatically get a 10-8 scorecard if you knock someone down, they say that a knockdown is a one point deduction to the fighter who got knocked down.
So if Ryan Garcia was winning the round at the point of the knockdown, which he CLEARLY was, then one punch that knocked him down isn't going to overturn the round.
This is how, according to the rules, it should be scored.
10 - 9 for Ryan winning the round.
But he got knocked down, so we gotta take a point away from him, so 10 minus 1 is 9.
Hence the 9-9 scorecard.
Now Dave Moretti made a mistake and scored it a 10-10, I don't think that's a possible scorecard.
Judges aren't allowed to score rounds as a draw anymore. They have to give it to one or the other.
However, a draw card can happen in the way I explained above.
If you have the round to Garcia, then subtract the KD point, then its a 9-9 draw.
But you can't score it a draw off the bat.

bradley was man enough to give Pacman a rematch or maybe he was forced, but I doubt haney will want to step foot in the ring with Loma again.
