Just look at the super 6 world boxing classic tournament which was like a dream come true for fans and you'll have your answer if Benavidez beats a prime Ward. Nothing in Benavidez resume right now (or even the way he fights) tells me he would beat a prime Andre Ward

Ward would outlast, out grapple and frustrate Benevidez just like he has all of his previous opponents. He would nullify Bene's punching power and combinations and wrestle him to a unanimous decision. Ward's biggest strengths.....conditioning and mental focus has been near impossible to overcome.

No doubt about it. Who even asked this question?

Trust me, it’s only a matter of time until someone embarrasses Benavidez. Plant was on his way until he gassed.
You mean until he got broken down? lol. Haters keep hating. But when Canelo was struggling with Plant he gets all the credit for breaking him down when he really didn't hit him with much at all.

Ward struggled and arguably lost to a 33 year old Kovalev and I think Benavidez is better than him in almost every way and he's still not even in his prime. I think the fight would look like the Plant fight. Put them in a small ring and Benavidez stops him.

Yeah, and I'd beat Archie Moore, Saad Muhammad, and Michael Spinks
