I say yes but it depends on what the options are for his next fight.

I don't think it'll matter. Loma is too old now and all the judges are in Haney's pockets since he lives in Vegas now. I also don't care the results. Loma is a better fighter overall than Haney regardless of this outcome.

Only two things that helped Haney here is Loma's age and size. If Haney was smaller, Loma would of probably stopped him or at least dropped him. Though Loma isn't getting any younger and Haney is too big for Loma. Loma is a man fighting out of his division seeking better challenges, but unfortunately, that won't benefit him in the outcome.

He should and Loma definitely deserves a rematch, however, I’d prefer to see Haney face Tank or Shakur next.

A more definitive victor is warranted.

If there’s ever a better scenario for a rematch , this is it.
Easy there, buddy. Pacquiao didn't hand out immediate rematches...they always were spaced out or came a couple or a few years down the line.

For as much flack as people give Floyd and Ward, they actually gave their opponents an immediate rematch (when the fight was close enough).

I can't see Haney doing this. There is far too much money to lose by taking on Loma again in a weight class Devin has been trying leave for a year or so now.

If he stays at this point to sweat down to 135, it's gonna' be some bigger fight. I can't see Devin continuing to dehydrate himself to lightweight and expecting to win, or look good eeking out a win.

There won't be a rematch. It was a close fight, but people like to act as if boxing is an objective sport. It's not (even with the 4 criteria in its place). This isn't cut and dry or black and white...it's figure skating. It's show business with blood.

If the fight had been a draw nobody would be mad.

People that think this fight was controversial should definitely watch more boxing if they think that was controversial.

Casamayor vs. Jose Armando Santa Cruz

And then you have fight results which are ACCEPTABLE, but one bad scorecard overshadows the entire event (such as Canelo/GGG 1 where one judge gave Canelo 9 or 10 rounds...or Paul Williams/Sergio Martinez 1 where in a very competitive fight one judge gave Williams 11 rounds)

If Haney gives Loma a rematch...good for him. Is it going to happen? 90% no.

Credit for what exactly? Getting a questionable decision against a past prime undersized former champion. Despite Haney claiming he was far superior and was gonna win decisively.

The Lomasexuals can be toxic but you Haneyac’s can be just as bad.

I don’t disagree with you. I didn’t think it made sense for him to fight Loma in the first place. But he seems like he’s stuck in between trying to prove himself to the boxing world that he’s the true undisputed champ versus, moving to 140 and somewhat starting over until he gets acclimated. It’s just a matter of picking the poison of how you want to handicap yourself.

With that said, the real fight begins now. He’s about to go on some Tim Bradley mental spin out or he will push forward and just do what’s best for his body and career.

I watched this fight three times! On the night I had Loma up by 2. Sunday morning I had a draw. And last night I have it going for Haney.

Advice to everyone…put it on mute and watch again.

I think the rematch actually benefits Haney.

He's getting better & after fighting a guy like Loma & the backlash, he'll be more prepared.

Loma's just getting older & is still the smaller more shopworn guy.

Do I think think there SHOULD be rematch, not necessarily, but it would be be good for boxing in the sense it was a very good fight. It would be good for haney to put the controversy to bed. There's other great fights to be made for each fighter. As long a as fights a credible opponent next, whether that's each other or Tank or Shakur, I'm good

I seriously doubt Haney will rematch Loma. Personally, I think Haney has a hard time making weight. It will get harder as he matures.
If he didn’t have a hard time making weight I believe Haney would whip him decisively.

Definitely worthy of it but hard to force Haney to stay at LW if he can't make it.
