Haney landed a clean power punch to the body, Loma counters with a touch to the head and they call it even. That's why muppets got Loma winning.

Loma was more active throughout the entire fight. Haney's bodywork didn't do much to slow Loma down so you can't call it effective, whereas Haney's head was bouncing around when Loma hit it.

I don’t give punch stats a lot of credit but the numbers are Haney landed more punches in 5 rounds, Loma landed more punches in 5 rounds and 2 rounds were even. That indicates a close fight which it was. You can cry forever but it wasn’t a “robbery”.

Well if that's the case and he landed more, how come Haney looks like he went for a walk to the park? If someone lands a punch that snaps the opponents head back, and the opponent lands a weak jab that gets no one’s attention, the one with the head snapping punch landed the better punch. Therefore if those were the only 2 punches landed, the more meaningful puncher should get the round.

That’s why, compubox is dismissed so much, because it is used improperly. Even if Haney landed 10 punches to Lomachenko’s 6 punches, what if it was Lomachenko who landed the more meaningful blows in the round?
