I find it odd that for the better part of a decade all of the PBC fans on here bashed Arum, called him a liar, a fraud and a corrupt promoter, but suddenly they believe him now?
Not saying with certainty that he fixed it, but to play devil’s advocate: With over 100 years of experience in the business of boxing, Arum probably knows that he needs to play dumb if he fixed it.
He can’t just go parading Devin Haney around, happily claiming him as the winner, telling Lomachenko he lost, enthusiastically talking about what’s next for Haney.
He’s a slick business man from NY, he would know how to play it off if he fixed the fight.
If he goes around telling everyone that Loma won, he would have people, like you just did for example, saying “Oh well look, he thought Loma won, he couldn’t have fixed it!”
On the same token, he probably won’t viciously go after the judges for this decision that he thinks Loma won “easily”. So easy? Do something about it, use your power to shine light on the judges scoring. If he fixed it, he won’t take action, but he would verbally try to get the heat off of himself by saying he thought Loma won,

My post wasn't about Bob's ability to change the judge's ruling. It was about Malignaggi hinting that he fixed the fight because Top Rank re-signed Haney two days before.
