Top Rank is banking on Shakur being their super star moving forward. They want Haney vs Shakur not Loma vs Shakur. Anyone can see why, Loma was the one snapping Haneys head back and forth. 1.000s of people didn’t imagine that. Yeah Haney landed to the body but he couldn’t slow little old Loma down.

Haneys contract with Top Rank is up. He’s a free agent. He could sign with PBC tomorrow and completely lock Shakur out of the division.

All of the refs saw the exact same fight with a pro Loma crowd in attendance and named Haney the winner. It's time to move on and accept that Loma was never who they said he was. He is now is little more than a gatekeeper at 135. He loses to Tank and Shakur, while also losing to Martin and Keyshawn Davis. Loma needs to move down to 130 and concentrate on that caliber of fighter. His days on any P4P list should be effectively finished. Hey Loma fans 17-3 ain't that bad...I guess. -_-

Loma was still a great fighter but he's past his prime and doesn't have it in him to beat the elite rising stars. He definitely isn't gatekeeper level especially considering he made Haney look like a bobble head.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but rumors are a thing in boxing, sometimes they turn out to be true. If it turns out that Haney is indeed re-signed to TR I doubt you’ll be big enough to admit that you’re the silly one. Regardless Haney knows deep down he got out boxed.
