Finally scored the haney loma fight

Ok, I just watched it again. But Loma wasn't landing anything either, and defense doesn't win you rounds. OFFENSE wins you rounds. Loma needs to focus less on defense in these early rounds and pick up the pace, and throw some shiny punches to wow the judges.

Throwing and missing is worse than defending well. Loma was active, countering well, and not just throwing into the air.

The word 'robbery' can be applied in slightly different ways can't it.

Robbery as in, the wrong result and with crazy cards. Robbery with the wrong result, but 'acceptable' scorecards that could have gone a round either way.

I would say this is in the latter, and Moretti's card is *just about* questionable.

That's the difference between how you and me score. I like the more aggressive fighter, who is throwing more ****t, even if it misses. But, you didn't see the 1 or 2 body shots Devin landed midway through the round. Loma was too busy doing his ukrainian dance routine to counterpunch properly. Maybe if Loma hooks up with a good coach that can teach him how to counterpunch we will see something different from these judges.

Whatever bro, I am not Moretti. I just score it as I see it, and I saw a lot of shots landing from Haney on Loma's body. Admittedly, he missed a ****load of shots, but so did Loma. I will rescore the fight later when I'm not busy, and we will see who the true winner was.

Loma landed good clean headshots on Haney in the first round around the 2 minute mark, 1:20 minute mark, 1minute mark, and at the end of the round when he had Haney in the corner. So I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Also seen some amateur comments elsewhere about how marked up Loma looked vs Haney. Short of having a caved in face like BJ Saunders etc, it is meaningless.

Ok, I will watch it one more time, but this is the last time for reals. 3 head shots versus like 5 shots to the body isn't winning man. I did see a nice head shot from Loma at the end. But, really neither guy landed that much. I can see why you gave it to Loma in the first round, but I liked haney's activity more.
