    are head shots not important now in boxing?

    not watched much boxing this year compared to normal, are clinches and body shots more important now than head shots? kept seeing haney get his head snapped back but he 'won' apparantly... thought in the past you worked the body to get to the head, not just work the body with light shots for 12 rounds and hug to avoid exchanges

      i watched the whole thing, 116-112 loma. head shots are meant to value more then body shots or thats what i thought anyway... not going to trash haney as it was a step up in opposition for him so might learn from it and he did well to come on strong in the 12th but he was coming out second best in the vast majority of the exchanges, not as if they were crippling body shots either, barely had any effect

        8-4 Loma isn’t realistic. Best you can give him is 7-5.

        Nothing in the rules say head shots are more. It was a very close fight.

          Power shots are more important. Loma was getting tagged by check hooks and body shots all day.
