why not? These guys had Loma ahead 8-2 after 10 rounds. What do you expect? They filled out their scorecards before the fight started

Haney was holding as expected and throwing low blows at will but Loma was landing harder and if Haney was a man and not a coward this could had been a tko. How a 22yr bigger dude is afraid of standing and trading with a 35yr much smaller man with t-rex arms is beyond me. Loma got this and it was taken from him. Damm you Arum.

criticism can go either way.
For example, whilst others graduated from the amateurs and turned pro, loma hung around for years to develop a higher boxing iq abd stamina. He had time to fanny around practicing and developing breath control, Haney was fighting in mexico and paying bills whilst loma was living off a government stipend for olympians.
so in the end you have a 24 year old who's made money and acheived undisputed, whilst the others had losses.

Furthermore, Haney is weak at lightweight, he's skin and bones which is why he faded the way he did.

Haney won a lot of rounds just with body work. The right hook to the body was crushing Loma and that decided the fight.
