Comments Thread For: Haney: When World Sees How Decisively, Easy I Beat Lomachenko, I'll Get My Just Due

LAS VEGAS - Devin Haney has the confidence of an undefeated, undisputed champion. The intelligent, skillful lightweight king predicted not only that he'll beat Vasiliy Lomachenko on Saturday night, but that he'll do it so convincingly that even his critics will give him the credit he is certain he already deserves. Haney has taken

I guess we will see. But from the past fights I don't see that happening, perhaps a close decision, but not a decisive one, I mean this guy put together two lackluster performances against Kombosos who Is B level at best and barely beat an old Linares and an old Gamboa. Fighters do improve over time but I believe Haney's lack of power will be his down fall, not necessarily in this fight, I do believe Loma still has something left but he's a bit past his prime, I expect Haney to win because if he doesn't, it says everything about how good or not Haney is...

Haney isn’t going to beat Loma by just trying to stay outside, jab, pot shot, and clinch. Loma’s feet and offense are too good and hopefully with the ref doing his job, there will be at least one point deduction for excessive holding. I got Loma by SD
I would rather watch Tank vs Loma any day of the year although I would love to watch Tank knock those huge soup coolers off of Haney’s face. Man, I hope Loma knocks Jay Z’s son off tonight. He’s too ugly to be champ.
And to Bill Haney…. Shame on you for starving and causing irreversible damage to your son for the loot. I understand fighters cut weight but this is to the extreme. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a big pot belly and flies crawling on his eyes balls.

            He's already 35 and declining.

Haney may win , all the advantages are in his favour but if he thinks it will be easy then he's as deluded has I have always thought he is.

If Haney loses balance, falls in and tries to hold, he'll get popped and get caught in the blender trying to reset. Haney has the advantage and a few flaws that are in Loma's favor. Very good fight for those who love skill.

Devin Haney's style isn't exciting or even mildly attractive and now that he has shown everyone his ass... we can safely conclude that he's an absolute POS.

I'm not buying the PPV and Win or lose I will never pay to watch some disrespectful POS bore me to death.

I may be all alone but IMO, Bob Arum can shove this guy up his ass.
