My issue is documented above. Whenever Loma loses there is a clear response from the worst part of his fanbase that cant and shouldn’t be justified or normalized.
I can understand this particular loss a little bit more because of the controversy surrounding the decision. It reminds me of Kovalev-Ward 1, Canelo-GGG 2 were the the fight was close but the wrong man got the decision.

The Teofimo loss was much worse, he definitely lost that fight, I don’t see how you give him more than 5 rounds that night. The Lederman card was a disgrace but the right man got the decision.

there was absolutely nothing controversial about GGG/Canelo 2. Canelo backed him up all night and HBO were telling us GGG was beating Canelo down. Even in the 10th when GGG landed one punch on canelo and then missed a 6 punch cobo, Lampley was trying to influence the viewers that Canelo was about to be stopped.

The media scorecards tell a different story.

I was there too that night and scored it 115-113 Golovkin.

I wish some way both fighters could’ve lost.

Triple G's trainer in between rounds was telling him he was losing and after the fight said he lost. he got beat up. The same media that had GGG winning against Derevchenko. That media? or are we talking about a different one?

A lot of credible opinions right there, not all of them, but many journalists who know boxing felt Golovkin won.

I was in the arena and scored it for GGG and watching it back I scored it for GGG.

Fans of fighters and not the sport itself go overboard. Their reasoning tends to be skewed.

The wrong man didnt get the decision imo.

Loma just lost. Every loss is the same response from the worst part of his fanbase yet there is never any outrage.

They do this whether or not its a clear Loma loss. Each time they do we see tacit validation given to that garbage from the rest of his fans.

When will some of you stand up and state clearly that it is wrong to keep racially politicizing his losses rather than discuss what occurred in the ring rationally?

The majority of fans, pundits seem to think Loma won though.

Even the poll on here was pretty lopsided.

Close fight were neither guy conclusively won, but there’s a much stronger argument for Loma deserving the decision than Haney.
