His weight cut didn't go perfectly and Loma has been pretty confident, making him look like a dumbass in the face to face interviews. I think that Loma got the better of him in the last face to face ('cause you know Haney was reading social media about it and saw that everyone said Loma son'd him), and Haney knows that Loma can expose him. So all of these things are at play. Pre planned but also out of fear.

I don't know if you can think of any, but are there any guys who rehydrated but rehydrated too much and it came back to bite them in the fight?
It didn't look preplanned to me. Too hard of a shove/Loma wasn't prepared for it, and usually the crew is aware and jumps in immediately.

Loma was smiling at him at the weigh in, and I think it pissed Haney TF off.

Yeah. That probably helped push him over the edge.

When you've been trying to get into someones head for a week, and they're standing there grinning ear to ear like an idiot? Yeah that ****s with you.

Part of me thinks that why Fury avoided Usyk after he stood on the ring apron cussing at him like an emotional idiot and Usyk just smiling back at him,.

Well, I wouldn't describe it like an "idiot." Seems as if it was pretty smart to me. Let the guy do all the yapping and let him get into his own head and mess it up. I think it's genius.

I am not really opposed to fighters having a jostle during weigh in's, or even attacking each other 'If each fighter is antagonizing each other and making threats'.

The push was maybe a tad unnecessary from Haney, because Lomachenko was not braced for that kind of attack 'But he should of been braced'.

It is a sign of intent from Haney, making that first move and pushing Lomachenko. At the same time it is also a sign that the magnitude of the occasion is registering on Haney's attitude.

Note: I have stated this numerous times before. Being a favorite and fighting on home ground is? Many times more difficult than being a underdog. I have said this many times before in discussions comparing Anthony Joshua win against Kiltschko vs Fury's win against Kiltschko 'There is less pressure on a fighter, when they are a underdog and fighting away from home'.

Devin Haney has most likely never experienced this amount of pressure before during a fight build up.

Lomachenko has been to the big dance many times before, and has been more composed etc.

Loma fans should be pissed at him for acting like a fanboy during the whole build up. Dude doesn't even wanna say that he'll win ffs. Loser mentality if ever.

Loma's right. He has Devin where he wants him. Loma will attempt to end it late. Expect a clinic from Loma, but won't be surprised if Huggies survives and wins by robbery (basically a worse version of Teofimo vs Loma decision). Loma tends to showboat/learn his opponent in the first 6 rounds, then bring it on late. That plan backfires though!

The smile itself I mean. "Smiling like an idiot" as a term. Not saying it was idiotic to do, since it clearly got in their guys heads.

Maybe. Loma fights by death of a thousand cuts. He likes to break a guy down bit by bit. Once he has him weakened, he drags him into a corner and beats the crap out of him. He'll do this until he stops him, the guy quits or the final bell rings.

It's kind of like those Komodo dragons. All they have to do is bite the prey a couple times, and then eventually, the toxins spread and the prey slows down. Once it can't resist anymore, it pounces. That's Loma's MO. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It didn't work with Lopez because he took too long, but usually it works pretty well.
