Why do judges hardly ever give out even rounds nowadays?

In years past it would be very common for judges to give out 10-10 rounds for rounds that were more or less very close in nature that could have went either way. Today though this rarely ever happens, and leads to many bogus score cards and decisions. Fights in years past for the most part used to be scored a lot more accurately.

People rather see a win or a loss, fighters with draws on their resume don't get it to the bigtime anymore

its looked down on in the industry. it can be used as an easy way out.
because of that i feel guilty if i give even rnd early
        when scoring.

a lot of fights i could have score several rounds even legitamently

Most sanctioning bodies dont allow, the judges to score a round even.

Drawn rounds don't necessarily lead to drawn fights.. it might be that one drawn round that gives one fighter the edge.

Totally agree with street bully. If a round is even, then score it that way.

When I personally score fights, I don't give rounds to fighters just because I feel I have to give it to one of them. An even round is an even round.

even rounds are gay. boxers need to fight to win rounds, otherwise the'd be slacking.

Do you have sources to back that up?
