It looks like Haney is going to hug like crazy in this fight. His concern is not about elbowing, head butts, hitting below the belt, etc., but about legit inside fighting, which happens in virtually any fight. He's basically saying inside fighting is not allowed in this fight.



The result of this fight might depend heavily on the referee's actions, like delaying to yell break, allow excessive holding with no warnings, etc.

That right left by Linares was brutal. Hurt Haney so bad he still can’t talk about it.

What is Haney talking about? This coming from the best example of the punch and grab style of boxing. I do give credit to Haney for even scheduling a fight with Lomachenko, but I am surprised and disappointed that he is already setting up excuses for and anticipated loss.

I think the enormity of the fight has finally dawned on Haney and now he's trying to convince himself he can win this fight. I think he expects angry energy from Loma with all his outbursts (dirty fighter, he ducked me for 4 years etc.) and Loma been a wily vet isn't falling for any of it. He's smiling, been calm and collected while Haney is boiling in anger wasting unnecessary energy and hiding his expression under those sunglasses he keeps wearing indoors. I thought he wins this fight before but I am now convinced he will lose. I think Loma is going to carry him too fast and probably up the pressure in the later rounds. Haney leads early but I think Loma sweeps the second half of the fight.
