Boxing: 1.8Mill HBO PPVs sold with only 2 PPV cards

I was just thinking about how well Boxing is doing this year.

It has sold 1.8Million PPVs so far with only 2 PPVs

    Pacquiao-Hatton 850k

    Mayweather-Marquez 1Mill

Then you possibly have another 1Mill PPVs sold with Pacman and Cotto.

    That'll be 2.8Mill and that's a LOT with only 3 PPVs.

Not to mention the Mosley-Margarito and Cotto-Clottey fights that generated over 1Mill Viewers each.

    Hurray for Boxing!

Imagine what they could do with at least 4 or 5 a year...and it CAN be done.

And to think that the Super 6 hasn't even started yet, and we still have Pavlik-Williams. no one can complain about this year.

I have to admit, i am gassed up from seeing the sport i love do so well. It was so far behind just a year ago making PPVs out of fights that didn't even deserve a PPV.

This new way of making only super mega fights PPVs is doing the sport much better. Expect to see even better fights next year cause of the success boxing had this year.

The year started off great, awesome fights, then in died down with all the injuries, postponements, etc. But the year is finishing off strong as hell.
