Comments Thread For: For Devin Haney and Vasiliy Lomachenko, Timing Is Everything

By Corey Erdman - Back in 2019, the landscape at the sport's upper echelons looked a whole lot different than it does now. Hanging on towards the bottom of pound-for-pound rankings was Manny Pacquiao, and at the top of them stood Lomachenko. Fresh off of his victory over Luke Campbell, Lomachenko was the....

Bumachenko too small for haney and the other lions at 135. He struggled with jamaine Ortiz’s size. Haney gonna beat him up for 12 rounds. 1-2 hold hit on the break rinse repeat 12 rounds. Bumchenko will be looking tho the ref for help all night

Haney is slightly better than Rolly.. his jab and combinations are awkward, and not in a good way. Loma is going to drop Haney, at least, once during the first four rounds. Haney will try to hug his way to the final bell.

Lomachenko is a little genius. I hope he’s still got it.

This fight isn't going to be easy for either. Loma is old but he's a slick lefty. Haney's jab won't work as much against this type of style. Haney also doesn't throw a consistent straight right to off set the southpaw stance. He will be facing a well experienced legit fighter in Loma. That said this fight is even and going the distance

This guy Haney reminds me of R.Garcia in that he wanted so bad to fight G.Davis he kept asking for it, and asking for it, like it was his only reason to be in the fight game. Well he got it and then some. Look at the experience and fights that have led up to this match up. It tells the same story, and now that he has got the fight and he will have to fight Saturday Night he has already reached his potential, it is all down hill from here. He has reached his level and will be exposed for what he is not.
Everybody gets marketed in this boxing business, it is a natural fact of boxing to imply otherwise would be to detract from the truth of the fight game, Promotion of a fighter is a game, the game stops when two fighters get in the ring, that is when it gets real not before not after but in the moment of the fight. He has has a lot of promo in his life Haney as has Lomo. just a fact of boxing. I look at this quote this " i am not going to lose no more" and i read it but i hear something different he said did he not say " i am never going to lose to a white man" he said that to draw attention on himself ? He said that to try and build his character up ? Well now you are going to be beaten not so much by a white man as by a better man then yourself on Saturday NIght. Enjoy the money because your time is almost up.

Them lightweight undisputed titles are cursed , see teofimo couldnot beat his next fighter than kamboses couldn't either there heads got too big and lost the focus that got them there , I wonder is Haney going to be in same boat , Loma did struggle with Campbell and compared to the top. 3 we saw how compbell was made to look like a girl by Ryan , and Ryan made fool out of by genius in tank , this is a underrated fight , boxing scene making headlines for weeks over ****** youtuber fights and this is the first iv seen of this fight , this is a super fight can't wait , I'd like to think Haney by points is the easy bet , but I might put my money on Loma because I love underdogs
