Comments Thread For: Gabriel Flores Scores One-Punch, 1st Round Knockout of Derrick Murray in Stockton Homecoming

There was no place like home for Gabriel Flores Jr. A well-embraced homecoming produced a much-needed win for the 23-year-old lightweight, who made quick work of St. Louis' Derrick Murray. A single left hand produced the bout's lone knockdown and a sudden ending to the fight.

His next opponent will be someone that lives under Charter way bridge. I remember all his uncles, years ago bragging about him every minute all throughout Stockton.

I was excited about this kid 5-6 years ago. Then he became super arrogant. And his pops is a knock off of Danny Garcia and Teofeo's dad.

Kid needs a new trainer and stop buying ***elry on his maxed out credit cards.

    good luck to him.

This is also a disgrace. It was a grazing shot, and that smartass ref was literally pressing Murray's chest preventing him from standing up. Why can't these refs do a count first before making a decision?
