SSM would suffice cuz he's the #1 WW, and the fight is long overdue. A Cotto fight has been in order in the past 2. I could give a **** about the ******ass p4p 'title' everybody on here talks about all the time. But if Pac beats Cotto, then he is a top WW himself, and that fight better happen too. SSM is Mr boat buyer's toughest test cuz he's the only one who goes 12. Pac and Cotto get KO'd.

I was kinda hoping that he'd press for the KO since he was so dominating. He didn't and that was dissapointing.

I was disappointed as well, but predicted a KD, regardless. It's either too risky to go for a KO or he is protecting his hands or both.

I agree Pac would get KO'd, but not by Floyd pressing but by a punch PBF doesn't expect Pac to get wobbled by and then PBF goes for the kill after. I think he'll just decision Cotto because it will be too risky to go for the KO for Floyd. He just might hurt his brittle hands in the process of looking for a KO against Cotto. That rican has a pretty tough noggin. It took a couple of bricks to break it open.

I spent much of the night screaming at my TV, asking for a knockout.

I definitely believe he could have ended the fight at any time. So I was a bit dissapointed that he didn't.

No ****. That dude acts like Floyd just made JMM up! It's funny how EVERYBODY says before the fight how great Marquez is, and how he's number 2 in the world, and Floyd kills him, and all of a sudden he's a tune up.. etc.?

                It was a tune-up.

I think Floyd looked very sharp despite his layoff so I don't think he missed a beat. Certain people were looking for a crease in the armor due to ring rust, but if there was any, it was unnoticeable.

I agree about Cotto. That's why after watching the tremendous shots he absorbed against Margarito (for an extended period) and Clottey, and still didn't fall, I just don't think Manny can knock him out. Cotto has a sturdy chin.

Now, if Manny drops him, then Manny must have more power than Margo and Clottey.

4 converts. I'm not surprised. I predicted he'd beat JMM but Floyd looked very impressive after 2 years off against one of the best technical boxers ever. Please don't bring up the weight issue, if they fought at lightweight, I think it would still be the same result. Kudos to Floyd but more props to JMM for going ahead with the fight.
