Canelo doesn’t have to compromise. He has plenty of other options.

If Bivol prefers to kill the rematch instead of doing it at 175 then I hope Bivol has a better money or a better legacy alternative. Otherwise it’s just dumb.

And you can also be sure those other people are not named Benevidez, Morrell, Andrade, but anothe C level British fighter that will look good against Canelo who has become average.

He is not became average, the competition has been better. He clearly won the ryder fight, but people were expecting a ko, ryder has a good chin and ginger is not a one punch ko artist. He looked spectacular against who? He's been fighting brits for the past few years, until he met a good champ in his prime, and look like when he fought Mayweather, ggg1 and Lara.

I don't think Canelo is making 160 again easily at his age and stage of career, he's denser than he looks. I think his stocky stature and counterpunching style actually suits him better at 168 against the taller guys. Benavidez will likely give him problems but at this time I still rate Canelo higher just due to what he's accomplished against big names.
