The point is that it's an intriguing fight, one that would be action packed, and the fan's would love to see that fight take place sooner rather than later.
James also sound"s a bit nervous, as if he know's that while K. Davis is still a novice in the professional rank's, he can fight, has KO power, and has an extensive amateur career.
Besides all of that K. Davis is so confident in his abilities, that he's calling out F. Martin, in order to apply pressure on him through social media to take the fight against him.
One last statement if Floyd "Kid Austin" Schofield, has been calling out Keyshawn Davis out for over a year, K. Davis should accept that fight first, before calling some else out.
Davis is essentially doing to Martin, what Schofield is doing to him, so he should take care of first thing's first.
Davis is a damn good fighter, and so are Schofield, and Martin, all working their way up to their shot's at the title.
Any pairing of these fighter's against each other would be great fight's for the boxing fan's to watch.
Frank Martin is in a much higher position than Davis at the moment. He worked his way up fighting tougher competition with different attributes and styles each fight to gain the experience and position to be a top contender. Then, he fought the other undefeated prospect that was at the same level of being on the edge of contender status in Rivera, and showed that he was even on a different, more skilled level than Rivera. Keyshawn hasn't done this type of work in his 8 fights of his young career. Martin should be looking to fight the top 5 of the division, not moving himself back to fight a prospect that hasn't had a real quality opponent yet.

Yeah, Keyshawn is tripping. I like him as a fighter, but he's way too ****y at this point. He might end up being made an example of going in with someone and being overconfident. Cruz won the gold medal against him, he should expect for him to want the fight when he turned pro. Davis should look at it as an opportunity to get his lick back, he's only 8 fights in and he's acting like he has 18, like as if Cruz shouldn't have the audacity to say his name.

I like your style! Isn't Keyshawn actually using the same tactic with Martin? Why he ain't clapping back at "Kid Austin?"

Isn't it pretty obvious...this hunt isn't worth the bounty. They're not Tank/Garcia, together these guys can't generate 1/5th the cost. Can you imagine Crawford vs Spence 5 years ago, but without the names, fights, belts or recognition?

Derick James knows dam well the 135lb belts will be up for grabs and they bring the bounty, that's the goal. Everything else is just BS on twater media.

That’s all well and good, but if Frank Martin doesn’t fight a name opponent in a 50/50 fight next then what’s the point of that?

Fans pay their hard-earned money to watch these events so they deserve good value and entertainment. Not just showcase fights and mismatches that promoters use to build up artificial hype for their guys.

He's trying to position Martin to fight for one of the vacant belts after Shakur scares Devin to 140, but the downside of that is Frank may have to face Shakur, Pit Bull or Zepeda for that belt.

Me: "Uh, to see who's better."

if lomachenko loses to haney, shakur would be wbc & wbo #1, wba #3 and 3rd or 4th with ibf. martin can fight zepeda to become tank's mandatory OR arrange a (possible interim ibf title) fight with gustavo lemos. i say target lemos because he would ask for the least amount of money = easiest fight to make and fastest route to a title.

Keyshawn Davis is with Top Rank, he's in the "wrong side of the street." Frank Martin is promoted by Earl Spence, the guy who popularized the "wrong side of the street" term.

Why do they keep making these useless articles about fights that they know are impossible to make? I don't get it. Why not articles about Martin and Pitbull, who are both in the same organization?

                    Where is Mike Coppinger?

There's no downside to fighting any of those guys, those are the top ranked fighters in the division, and that's who Martin wants to fight, not a prospect like Davis.
