Yes I think Vitali could possibly beat Holyfield. I felt the reason Lewis beat Holyfield was his reach advantage, and Vitali has that too, and a tonne of courage just like the legendary Holyfield had and still has.

Holyfield tore a rotator cuff in the first round against Byrd, the same injury Vitali had yet he never quit.

Lewis, but imho only because he had the better opposition and the better wins. If we're talking about the potential and the skills I see a matchup between Lenox and Vitali, followed by Wlad who may have the best technical skills of all three, but hasn't got the same fighting spirit and a questionable chin.

Vitali Klitschko absolutely dominated Lewis in their one fight. Lewis was SO lucky that that cut occured. It even seems thet it was from a glove scratching the eye during a hold and not an actual punch. LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY.

Now Lewis beat my all time favourite fighter Evander Holyfield. And Klitschko dominated Lewis and looked magnificent doing it. So I have to rank Klitschko above both Lewis and Holyfield.

I honestly think a prime vitali is the better fighter but I would still rank lewis higher because of his resume.

Yes this is the reason Lewis is rated higher. But had Vitali had the chance, his encounter with Lewis proved he would have had at least similar successes. The opposition has just not been there for him, and perhaps, to a degree, he just made them look worse than they were.

Sure he showed he was tough but it's just one display while Holyfield proved it over and over again throughout his career. Vitali wanted to continue after receiving a bad cut which is nothing unheard of.
