Stylistically Lewis was superior in every way.

The real question is whether either of them will achieve Danny Williams greatness.

    Can anyone?

I added the McCall KO video to that post. Lewis never avenged that 2nd round KO loss. McCall was a crackhead, he had a mental breakdown in the rematch and cried like a baby in the ring, it one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen.

      Wlad's losses were avenged.

Wlad completely dominated Brewster and made him quit in 6.

      Vitali destroyed Sanders and Purrity.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a scared coward because he knew Vitali would destroy him and tarnish his legacy.
Being up on the cards 4-2 is nowhere near dominating someone, Lewis was tired but he still won the last round before the stoppage and Vitali was starting to look just as tired as Lewis. Lewis being tired proves that he wasn't in shape for the fight and takes away some of the shine that Vitali got from that fight. The only one that looked battered after the fight was Vitali. Your great champions biggest achievement is winning 4 rds but losing the fight to an old out of shape Lewis.

Because his brother beat them means Wlad avenged his losses? You nuthuggers think the 2 robots = 1 fighter

Lewis was 37, that's not old for a heavyweight. Vitali is 38, he came back after a 4 year layoff and is still dominating.

Before the fight, Lewis said he was very motivated, in good shape and wanted to keep fighting for a long time.

Vitali dominated and battered Lewis into retirement. That's a FACT.

What else would he say? I'm out of shape and over the hill? Lewis won the fight that's a Fact. But losing to a top 10 ATG of the Heavyweight division (something Vitali and Wlad never will be) is nothing to be ashamed of, even if he was only half the fighter he used to be.

Vitali suffers the sameproblem Calzaghe suffers from, he has all teh skills to be ATG but is unfortunate to be in a division so devoid in talent he'll never be considered as such.

Calzaghe squeezed in late and high on the ATG lists by having Lacy and Kessler emerge as a genuine moving up and facing torch bearers and beating both, and then being able to move up and face ATG's late in their careers to add some gloss if not substance.

Vitali Cannot/will not be able to do either.

No young Heavyweights look any good, Haye is a Cruiser and Arreola is vastly overrated, maninly due to the fact even a C level fighter can look good in a division of D and E level bums.

**** people are even getting excited over the prospect of a 4 round fight between Danny "shot 2 years ago" Williams and Fraudly Harrison. THATS how bad HW boxing is right now.
