Not Haney's fault. He wanted Loma at his best, and Loma turned his back and went off in a different direction. Look where that got him.

He'll be able to accomplish that by utilizing more leverage, timing, punch selection, he's younger, taller, longer, and I dare say faster.
Don't forget that Lomachenko ducked fighting Haney, just like Lopez, did they have that dubious distinction in common.
The only reason he's fighting him now is because he has all of the belt's in the 135 pound division, so he has no other choice if he want's to become champion.
Loma didn't duck Haney, lol. When Haney wanted to fight Loma in the past, Haney didn't have a belt, and Loma was trying to unify the titles that Lopez had, and most people thought that Lopez was the much bigger and better fight. Plus, if Loma was ducking Haney then, why would he fight him now, when Loma has seemingly lost a step, and Haney is even better?

He want's to try to become champion again, so he has no other choice but to fight Haney, because he hold's all of the belt's at 135.
The WBC can't just give him an honorary franchise belt this time around, like they did when he ducked Haney a few year's ago.
Now it look's like he's going to get what he was trying to avoid year's ago, and it's not going to be becoming undisputed champion.

I’m not blaming Haney. He was really too young back then and would have gotton whipped by EXPERIENCE.
Nobodies fault Haney is at his peak and Loma is at the end.
I do think Tank should have fought Loma & Teo YEARS AGO but we ALL KNOW why that never happened.

He does make a good point though - with Loma you must pressure non stop. But we all know that the only reason he makes this point is because he really thinks he did some unimaginable work in the ring when Loma gave up 6 rounds for nothing

He only won because Hi-Rech spotted him the first seven rounds. However, I do agree with the overall premise. At some point Devin is going to have to come out of his comfort zone and back Loma up and walk him down in order to decisively win this fight.
Loma lost the fight because "he didn't have any dog in him!" That's why he lost to Salido too!

I never said anything about Haney, just agreeing that "he can't just play defense!" He MUST attack Lomachenko!

Haha yeah OK man. So, will you have any excuses if Lomachenko wins? I think it will be a good fight, and can see a way that either guy can win. I am going with Lomachenko, but will gladly admit that I was wrong if Haney does indeed win. I guess we'll find out soon.

I'm not going to make any comment about this fight, except that anything can happen in boxing.
That's what makes it exciting to watch. I'll just enjoy every minute of it. It's the fight to watch this year.
I didn't even watch the Ryder/Alvarez fight. It didn't interest me one bit.

Jesus, it was a bad night for lomachenko and that’s that. The Lopez loss was very surprising and to show just how surprising, look what the Australian kid did with ease. Loma beats this fellah over the 12 but will have to work for it.
