    He’s never been a 12 round fighter.

He’s never been that difficult to hit.

Maybe he moved his head a little less and stayed in the pocket more but I think that was because he was comfortable more than anything.

I don’t see any major regression tbh, he’s always had these flaws.

He has always been 12 round fighter, to begin with.

He went 12 rounds in all his the biggest fights.

What is new is, he went 12 rounds with the guy he was expected to stop.

He stopped Sweet cheeks and an out of shape, inactive Saunders who showed up for a payday and people think he is a stopper. Bivol isnt going to hold back in the rematch when he traps him on the ropes. Take the PBC money and beat up on Spence, Charlo and Benavidez. They'll give him 200 million for those 3.

He’s never been able to sustain the pace over 12. He’s regularly gassed late in fights. Golovkin, Jacobs, Bivol etc so many examples.

Some less educated posters expected him to stop him easily because you underestimated Ryder or were unfamiliar with him.

If you look at the Pick Em results, a lot of the more knowledgeable posters felt this was gonna be a distance fight or at least a fight that went into the late rounds.

He went for the knockout from the very beginning, did not care about defense in this fight, just trying to give his people a a bloody show...

I completely agree. He looked just like he did against Fielding and when he fought his other mandatory at 168lbs just before unifying the division. The difference was Ryder was tougher and more durable than those guys, but not quite as good as the previous champions Canelo fought at 168lbs.
