Personally I think Duran is the last guy that would retire just to leave behind a more perfect legacy. He didn't have **** to prove, the man just loved to kick ass and take names.
even though he took a bunch of losses after the first Leonard fight, he gets more respect from me for fighting on for as long as he did. He shouldn't have fought Ray so soon after the first fight though, considering how huge he blew up between fights, and certainly not in a 24 ft ring.
