Exactly what I hope, given that I bet on Canelo by KO rounds 2-5...

Thats a good call - if I was doing it I'd change to 3 thru 7. Being in a dog fight is very tiring. Canelo supposedly has stamina issue anyway. Ryder doesn't normally but he will tonight because of the 5,000 foot altitude - I'll be surprised if he's not gasping for breath between rounds after 2-3 rounds.

That's because Ryder can't box off the back foot, so it's more a lack of ability than strategic move.

That's an accurate analysis as always. I'll be honest, though: I decided to try the early rounds after having watched again Ryder vs Zach Parker. He looked nearly awful. And he even had the nerve to celebrate his "win" as if he had knocked Parker out...

If he does that...he will wind up on his back side. Biggest mistake of his boxing career.

I think Parker was up on the scorecards that fight? Plus I had Jacobs beating him. That was hometown cooking far as I was concerned.

Canelo better hope he gets Ryder out of there early then. 5000 ft isn't going to benefit Canelo either.

He celebrated his win because he knew he had just won millions of dollars in a huge sweepstakes.

It would be more exciting that way, although Ryder won't last as long if he stands in front of Canelo.
