Believe me, Canelo knows who is Mexican and who is not. Simply put, Benavidez is not. That said Canelo fighting Benavidez and Morrell would be great for the sport and for him. I would not rule those fights out. As much as Canelo may want a rematch, I personally don't think the Bivol fight will be made for myriad reasons. For one, Bivol wants the rematch at 168 and Canelo has said that is not going to happen because folks will then complain that he weight-drained Bivol and so on. I am hoping that he fights Benavidez instead and then Morrell. Benavidez is tailor-made for Canelo. Morrell will present more problems for him.

I think you're right, styles wise, benavidez would be in front of canelo's every second, so he wouldn't have to look for him. But that present a big problem for canelo's stamina, he would have to fight every minute and every second, until he folds or make benavidez fold. Morell jr is faster and a heck of a technician, ala Erislandy Lara when he wants to, and carry a good punch in both hands, that will be a nightmare too. In any case, the fights have to happen for our enjoyment and their legacy. Be safe
