He claimed it was a close fight. That's delusion. And what's a dehydration clause? Bivol cannot drink anything for 3 days before the fight? Might still KO Clenelo.

Many don't give Canelo a chance in a rematch vs Bivol. That could be a big mistake--Canelo can punch and adapt. Bivol will have to be on his toes.

All one has to do is know a little bit of boxing history, because history repeats itself. Jack Blackburn once warned Joe Louis about playing too much golf while in camp for a fight. He told Joe Louis that golf changes your swing, and throws your game off. Joe didn't listen of course. When he was getting his ass kicked in the 1st Max Schmeling fight, he came back to the corner and asked Blackburn what he was doing wrong, and Blackburn said, "You already done it", meaning its too late to help u now, u fu..ked up playing all that golf. Now u just have to get ur ass whipped and learn from it. Having said all that, Bivol is just a better boxer, period.

Good post! The question always is why did they not perform well. The answer isn't always an excuse like the kid who tells the teacher the dog ate my homework or my grandmother died (the 4th time this semester) and I had to miss class. Sometimes the reasons are what they are like I did not train like a should have or I fought with an undisclosed injury or my opponent had a better fight plan or my opponent is simply better than me. When a boxer is asked why did you lose and he explains why he thinks they lost it is not always an excuse but an explanation.

The cherrypick went wrong with Bivol. He was very deceiving.

I could see something was def off in the lead up to the bivol fight and lack of focus def could have been what I saw at the time. Canelo was too relaxed, like just going through the motions, another day at the office type ish. He didn’t give Bivol the importance and respect an undefeated light heavy weight deserves and he paid the price for it. I think he will beat dimitry this time, and in the trilogy! What sucks is that beterbiev will be chillin while getting older.

Canelo loses to Bivol 10 out of 10 times. I think it will be worse for Saul this time around.
