What fight were you watching? It sure as hell wasn’t Taylor/Catterall.

The fact that Taylor was the first UK boxer to win all 4 belts in the modern era and wasn't even considered for the BBC Sports personality short-list is just another example, whilst the media absolutely deep throats English boxers with a fraction of the talent like Benn/Eubank/AJ/Whyte.
So who deserved the decision in Taylor/Catterall?

Nearly all the Scottish who watched acknowledges it as a robbery. Even the minority who claims otherwise really know it was. Just go and read the comments from YT. Watch the interviews with Taylor saying that Scots deserted him because of that fight. Then hear him blame the English for it as well. It's hilarious.

Taylor is never going to live this down. He's become detached from reality in trying to convince himself otherwise. He's even saying he didn't get much blowback from it. He's created an alternate reality for himself as a coping mechanism. I'm actually quite worried for him. He is not handling it well at all. He should have been honest from the start and just said "I'm not the judges, but Jack won" and he would have escaped the worst of it. But he had to dig his own grave and make it so much worse for himself.

For the record, Taylor was dominated. The commentators or otherwise won't change that fact.

I’ve watched what I thought was a close fight before only to find out later when I rewatch it that it wasn’t really that close. GGG-Derevyanchenko comes to mind. I’ve never rewatched the Taylor-Catterall fight so I can’t definitively say Catterall won it, although it seemed like it at the time.

Has anyone here done that? Watched it and scored it without bias?

Yet you don’t mention the one overrated overhyped overweight fighter the English media fawns and slobbers over more than anyone else.

You know, the PED-cloud-shrouded-dubious-ties-to-alleged-global-gangsters-banned-from-flying-to-the-US-Usyk-ducking-rabbit-punching-long count-getting-cash-grubbing-needless-Chisora-trilogy-fighting-perenniallly-retiring-I’ll-give-money-to-the-homeless-lying-social-media-babbling-constantly-using-mental-health-as-a-crutch-to-avoid-tough-questions-misogynistic-slur-spouting fraud known as Tyson Fury.

Hmm, wonder why you overlooked HIM!
