Marquez stuck his chin in there and took risks even when both guys were in their prime. Floyd isn't doing that ever.

We got the non fight we got because Floyds best strategy was to run and clinch against an out of prime Manny. Even his pops said he was fighting scared.

Just wasn't confident that he could take Manny's punch. Didn't want to deal with the odd angles either.

That was good enough to beat everyone he fought. You still bitter he got the decision over PAC?

Out of Prime Manny that years later won a World title. Let me guess Floyd was older than Manny yet when they fought Floyd was in his prime and Manny was old.

Manny was a great fighter he deserves all the kudos he gets. If fans prefer him than Mayweather so be it, he fought a fan friendly fight for his entire Career. However, PAC was beat by Mayweather and many other fighters.Marquez knocked out PAC so badly that PAC put up a video a few days later with his wife feeding him noodles because his eyes were still closed. PAC fans should attack Marquez ,that defeat was more humiliating than anything Mayweather did to pac

PBF/May never beat anyone yet ruled boxing when he was active.
Every good win was paid for
He would not beat anyone in a Fantasy Fight match
He probably paid his way into the Hall
Not sure why May is constantly matched vs ATGs/HOFers

Unlike Pac, who fought every top guy IN THEIR PRIME and beat their asses.
Namely Marco and Erik. Those 2 PRIME guys are always falling out of a Pac Boi's mouth
The next prime guy worth bragging about would be Keef Sometime Thurman
That part time school teacher, full time bum was a lil too prime for Pac

We need a Pac Boi to make a similar thread to this one......but they don't dare !!!!

Mayweather Junior was a super elite fighter, but people must also acknowledge? Mayweather was not super elite in all area's.

Mayweather's punching power was not elite, and also he was not a fluid or natural combination puncher 'Mayweather had to constantly reset himself, in order to throw 2-3 punches'.

So therefore theoretically a big puncher with a high work rate and elite combination punch ability 'Is always going to push Mayeather'.

I would not name any particular fighter that will definitively beat him. But you can see? That fighters like De La Hoya, Mosley, Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Hearns even a peak Ricky Hatton for me? Were always going to be in competitive fights with Mayweather.

But we must also acknowledge that Floyd Mayweather Junior faced every style, encountered many obstacles inside the ring 'And he found a way to still win'.

If you do not have elite punching power, you need to negate this area of your game. Joe Calzaghe had super elite endurance and a extreme ability to throw punch combinations, very creatively without resetting himself 'Or if he did reset himself, it was a extremely quick process. Muhammad Ali & Evander Holyfield also had this same kind of ability'.

Floyd Mayweather Junior was a good combination puncher, I rate it at around world level ability 'High end World level to Elite'. But he did have to constantly keep resetting himself, Mayweather would throw 1-2 punches maybe 3 punch combinations and then he would distinctly reset himself.

Mayweather possibly fought this way because he was conscious of accuracy and efficiency, but the fact of the matter is? This was a trait of his offense.

Because Mayweather's one punch speed was super elite, he could fight in his fashion 'So overall it was a efficient way to fight against most fighters'.

But there are fighters in history that would of forced Mayweaher Junior to put more punchers together, and go off script.

Note: Still we must acknowledge that Mayweather did to a degree fight those kind of fighters, and he did overcome the challenge 'But those were stylistically difficult fights' etc.

They are not the exact same size. Duran is like 5'6 5'7 with a 62 inch reach. Mayweather is 5"8 with a massive 72 inch reach. How is that the same size? There is no way smaller fighter is beating mayweather. Also mayweather doesn't brawl he is strictly a boxer. No brawling at all. The way Duran beat leonard he got in a fire fight with Duran. And then he got outboxed and quit in their next bout. Truth is Durans weakness is movment and boxing ability. Floyd would strictly box Duran.
