A prime Mike Tyson would **** the Klitchko brothers!!!

yea,,prime tyson did have a good beard. ruddock also landed some bombs on mike and couldnt put him down. I still think vit would be too big, strong and mentally tough for mike. I could see him starching wlad but I could also see wlad holding on to a decision win in a nail biter

Vitali is smart...that should be added. That's why he is able to adjust and anticipate when punches are coming. He understands distance pretty well. Now what Tyson brings is different from many other fighters Viali has fought, but you do get a sense Vitali may be able to adjust and weather the storm and if he can do that by the mid-rounds and hasn't taken to many clean punches...he can continue his attack against Tyson and win.
Vitali would have to keep distance between him and Tyson...as well as clinch on the inside. He can't let Tyson attack his body which I would think Vitali would figure that out at some point if he hadn't already thought about it before the bell started.

It would have been interesting to have seen what Tyson would do. We know he can jab a 6'5 opponent who fights tall...as seen with Tucker. Mabye 6'7 is a bigger difference...not sure?
But that is why Tyson tries to make taller fighters fight smaller.

Vitali leaves his guard down to much and even though he uses his body to get out of the way of the incoming punch, you wonder if Tyson does some things to catch Vitali, especially since he has the speed and quick foot movement to make up room quickly. To get to Tyson Vitali would have to lower himself and punch down which is when Tyson would try to make him miss and counter attack...which comes in combinations, something rarely seen by HWs...specifically the ones Vitali fights.

that argument of tyson not doing well against taller fighters is untrue. tyson was a 5'10-5'11 heavyweight. almost all of his opponents towered over him. the loss to lennox had nothing to do with height and more to do with tyson being far from him prime.

I have to agree wholeheartedly. Tyson's downfall began before Douglas.

He was on a collision course and on his way to oblivion.

A prime, pre-Douglas Mike Tyson, would have wreaked havoc in today's HW division.

He did have trouble with taller, slicker opponents. But his head and body movement negated many shots from landing solidly on him.

I have been watching some of these frauds past fights and they have nothing special about them. Well, they are huge, but not much more. Tyson would Ko both these guys in under 8 rounds. Tyson had the speed and coordination to completley outclass these guys. Vitali fights with his hands down to his knees and that would not be a good thing to do, when fighting a guy like Tyson. Thoughts?

He might try to **** them if they ever were in prison at the same time as him.

But that situation would never happen, because the K brothers are law-abiding men.

Prime Tyson was something special but an undersized HW like that would have hard time against huge skilled fighters like the K bros. Tyson actually beat mostly cans and past their prime fighters in his prime and gets way overrated on here just like Ike.

How did a 5'11, 215 pound fighter that was always smaller than his opponents in height, and most times in weight, intimidate his opponents?

Douglas proved that a fighter that is motivated and in shape can beat a fighter that is not motivated and out of shape {boxing shape}. As well as a fighter that is regarded as a small HW must be in tip-top shape to beat a Large HW.

It was more about Tyson abusing his body and partying hard when he should have been taking better care of himself and training more, that caused his downfall.

The aura of invincibility was destroyed after Douglas.
