for the record Vitali would be difficult because of size, but i see one thing other people are too thick not to take into consideration, beating Vitali with pressure is not enough. you need to mix in speed with good defense. Peter, Gomez, and Arreola were perfect guys for him in his little comeback. none of them have one tenth of the speed mike had. Vitali never fought a heavyweight with that kind of speed.Comment

I have been watching some of these frauds past fights and they have nothing special about them. Well, they are huge, but not much more. Tyson would Ko both these guys in under 8 rounds. Tyson had the speed and coordination to completley outclass these guys. Vitali fights with his hands down to his knees and that would not be a good thing to do, when fighting a guy like Tyson. Thoughts?Comment

Vitali would Ko Tyson in 5 or 6 rounds.
Wlad is different, because Tyson could turn his lights out if he landed, however I think Wlad slowly, breaks Tyson down for the KO in around 10.
Tyson was amazing at blasting out bums, but struggled against quality opponents.Comment

What Smith, Tucker, and Green did was they CLINCHED and played defense. But all lost by UD.
For Douglas...yeah, if Tyson shows up with that version of himself, he'll get busted up.
Ribalta was 6'5....opponent below...but what Ribalta didn't do was to follow some of the things the others did do
Tyson made Ribalta smaller by making himself small, bobbing and weaving in which forces the taller opponent to punch down by lowering himself to try to make contact...and of course, Tyson went to the body. By going to the body, Tyson was set to tire out the Ribalta, make him worry about the body attacks which would lower his {Ribalta's} guard to protect the mid-section...at which time Tyson would explode with a combo to the body and up to the head. And he would mix up his punches and where he threw them...always making Ribalta think.
Vitali wouldn't fight this way I'm guessing. Vitali likes to fight Tall and would use the clinch in close.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 09-28-2009, 08:02 PM.Comment

and lol at vitali groupies. their man beat some slow handed fat mexican, a fighter who'd get destroyed in a round by likes of a retired foreman, tyson, and even a parkinson ali, and they make it sound like a superfight victory for big V.
i remind you he beat a Chris Arreola. im sure in their eyes Chris is a future ATG.
this forum gets better and better.Comment
