It's "effective immediately" you smooth brained loser. He just needs to leave the sport in general. He don't have the heart for this sport. A one trick pony as they say.

Even if he fights more frequently, I don't think his overall ring IQ will improve. And he's too mentally fragile to take a 2nd loss so I doubt he'll be involved in any marquis fight that poses a risk. Unless the money is too, too big to decline. Having said that, he's still young so things could turn around for him. Hoping he dedicates himself to the sport...

Ryan can come back and people will still want to see him again.
You never know what a first defeat will do to a fighter, maybe he learns a lot in the fight or just continues to treat the sport of boxing like an opportunity to make a lotta money with his following outside the ring. I predict he makes some more money but never really becomes anything close to a draw from most serious fight fans. He met his limitations in the ring and they are no longer avoidable. Some things come natural to fighters, some things never can be taught due to the fighter. No doubt he will make a lot more money but become a real draw in a fighters sense i never saw that in that guy. Opportunities he will get, but other then that it is a money game with limited skills and talent. Will people still want to see him sure but not if he fights anyone with a real threat to to him in the ring.

He needed humbling, he got it. Now it’s on him to work it out.

Y’all are making too much of his heart. Dude got clobbered with a punch by the most dangerous puncher sub 147 and got up and wanted to go to war except the round ended. In fact I’ll say he’s likely the only opponent tank has faced or will face in the next couple of years that gets hit with a shot goes down and goes right back to go to war. So in the heart department yall got it wrong.

Ryan came in with a pre existing rib injury..

now he will refuse to fight at 135 nor a rehydration clause..

the ppv numbers and ticket sales have set Ryan up as A side going fwd, he will not have to take anything Oscar does not want any longer.

This was likely the highlight of Ryan’s career. It’s all downhill from here. He was exposed as a limited boxer with a ln even more limited willingness to overcome adversity.

I'll never forget DeLaHoya vs Trinidad, because I bet my ex-girl that Trinidad would win and she went with Oscar. The bet was that the winner gets head. DeLaHoya was out boxing Tito and it wasn't looking good for me. Then Oscar started running, blatantly running and not throwing punches for the last 4 or 5 rounds. When they said Trinidad was the winner, I was soooo damned happy. She had a mouth from Jupiter. Thanks Fish Net

Garcia hasn't shown much, if any, improvement since the Campbell fight.
