Mike Alvarado fights in BKFC tonight..

42 year old Alvarado is returning to action well past his prime & after 4 years of inactivity to fight a MMA guy named James Brown.

Brown started out 3-5 in MMA, but is currently on a 7 fight win streak and is also 1-0 in BKFC.

    Brown is 6’2 with a 77” reach & the fight is at 155 .

thoughts? Shame honestly , anything can happen, but hoping Mike doesn’t get seriously hurt.

Yikes, yeah hopefully Mile High Mike isn't desperate for money and fighting because of that.

He's getting destroyed, worst performance by an ex boxing champ. Even Malignaggi did better

-cut stoppage, Alvarado got busted up horribly, his opponent James "get down" Brown hardly has a nick on his face

Thank you doctor. Alvarado would’ve kept going and there was no point.

Based off the pay for most of the fighters I saw (Perry top earner 250k for his fight)

Alvarado probably got 50K max, but I’m assuming it was closer to 20-30K or less

Trout looked great, albeit against a shot Diego Sanchez when they fought

Dat Nguyen has been the most entertaining & successful in BKFC of any boxer thus far

Yep Trout looked the best, sounds like he's getting a title shot against Palimino next. Palimino is top p4p bkfc fighter (if that means anything, since it's such a young org), should be a good fight. Dat looks good, but he's fighting bigger guys and his power doesn't seem to carry over, he had trouble his last fight.

Yep, agree all around. Trout-Palomino should be a good scrap. Dat should be getting the winner of the June 9th card for the 145 title. Probably should’ve stayed at 135, not sure how viable that is for him at 40, since he says he only trains when he’s signed a contract, but he’s fun to watch regardless .

Reggie Barnett is another boxer who’s done pretty well over there, though he was never on the level of Trout , Paulie, Alvarado , or even Dat in boxing.

                    Alvarado got destroyed

Did anyone expect a different outcome?

this guy has been shot to **** ever since drugs, and those two brutal slugfests with Brandon Rios turned his brain into mush

and that was back in 2013 ffs
