Canelo is not going to take and risky fight at 168 and the fools at DAZN never stipulated fights must be approved to get his $$$. Bivol is at a higher weight so losing to him he gets a pass. But, losing to Benevidez who Canelo is ducking will tarnish his legacy and he knows that. The blame here is on DAZN who were clueless at the negotiating table.

I think benavidez is half mexican, his mom is Ecuadorian/Dominican, and he was born in USA. How that heritage makes him a Mexican? I can see if both parents are of the same nationality. That was exactly my first thought. Marquez doesn’t have any place to criticize because we all know he evaded what would’ve been his highest paying fight, biggest profile fight, and he would have all the leverage-negotiating advantages over Pac.
