Exactly. Mayweather doesn't mention Pacquiao unless they ask him about it, and all he says is "Pacquiao is a great fighter, i take nothin away from him, but Ellerbe and Haymon put the fights together for me".

He doesn't go on record saying he doesn't need Pacquiao, Manny this Manny that.

Lol...yeah right. Pacquiao doesn't need Floyd...but somehow Floyd needs Pacquiao...uh huh. Then why is it that Pacquiao's trainer can't stop talking about Floyd and Floyd manages to remain non-commital about a potential fight with Pacquiao while some fans are demanding a Mayweather-Mosley fight rather than a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight?

Not hating on Pacquiao at all. He's a great fighter (who'll lose to Mayweather if/when they fight) and even Freddie Roach is a great trainer (better than Floyd Sr. and Roger), but get over yourself Freddie. Pacquiao needs the fight. If Mayweather needs the fight (he does) then Pacquiao needs it just as much.

Call me an optimist but I think Roach antagonising Floyd is probably more of an indication that the fight is on the cards. Roach wants to get into his head and wrangle an advantage in the negotiations.
