I believe that was Goosens plan cause that made the most sense due to Garcias height, reach and quick left hand.

Look at guys like Keyshawn Davis that mofo it happy just sparring for 10 rds doing absolutely nothing else but jab hold rinse and repeat. It's atrocious and the exact style that has put boxing in a coma for the last couple decades.

Most guys can’t stay focused. Ryan is one of them. He wants INSTANT results. You cant do that with tank. By the way. Tank doesn’t force a KO. He waits for you to give it to him.

Ryan came out in the 2nd rd like it was the 12th and he was behind in the cards. Lol
But that's why we all called his lack of experience to be his downfall.

They probably couldn't be bothered nor to even care, because of such disappointment I believe.
You do have a point though, Goossen was his trainer and major part of his team lead up to the fight - he should've been there regardless of the situation, win or lose. Be there with his fighter.

No different to all the fighters that move around trainers after a bad showing, they are looking for silver bullets when the problem is them.

Garcia has made too much money early in his career without having done much inside the ring. He doesnt strike me as somebody whose going to bounce back from this either cuz his heart is not fully in it.

well yeah a left hook against a southpaw, not the best thing to have as your only punch, they had no plan B and no right hand which they needed for a skilled southpaw.
