The more significant story within the story is the EXCLUSIVE NETWORK DEALS that promoters use to freeze out competition until they squeeze every penny miss-matching their cow with in-house mediocre stable of no hopes.

Tank/Garcia should have happened years ago and so should Crawford/Spence, Andrade/Charlo.......on, and on, and on. Even worse...when promoters have big in house fights, they insist upon every no hope until they either run out of cannon fodder or their cow is on the down side. Exclusive network deals give Hearn, Hayman, and Arum the power to force feed shyt fights and the occasional once was fight that has already ripened and rotted. It's a pattern.

It's good that DAZN is finally allowing fights without EXCLUSIVE network deals but Haymon won't until Showtime cans boxing, Arum dies and Eddie's ego burns DAZN to the ground.
