Also why is everyone saying Whyte is done? He's only lost 2 fights, one of which he avenged (Povetkin). I seem to remember saying people he was done after that fight too. People need to accept that just because a fighter loses - it doesn't mean they need to retire.
Did you watch the rematch Rob?
Pov was so weakened by covid his legs were giving way on his way to the ring. That's what happens in your 40s.

POv got dominated the first fight against Whyte before he got the KO with one punch... what was your excuse then?

Whyte is number 7 on Ring top-10 ratings for heavyweight - one above 44 year old Luiz Ortiz...

None of Whyte's results show he is finished. It's just people's opinion because he didn't look great against Franklin - no one has so far. Bakole hasn't fought anyone. He's not even started..

Yoka was top 15 before Bakole beat him.

Whyte has 3 losses….Joshua, Povetkin and Fury.

Bakole`s win over Yoka is underrated. Yoka was seen as some future in division before Bakole beat him. Now everybody say Yoka is a bum, but nobody felt so before the loss to Bakole.

I mean well done - but how does that make the fight attractive to Whyte? Boxers don't give out charity. If Whyte wins - so what? he beat a guy who once beat someone in the top-15. There's no gain in it for him. If Whyte loses - he lost to a guy who once beat someone in the top-15. It's no gain or massive loss

Boxers are dumb - fight someone inbetween if you want a fight. Move up the rankings and you will get the fights

Yes true I forgot Joshua. But all were top-guys and he dominated and avenged Povetkin. People say he is on the slide - where is the evidence?

Yeah, fighting Bakole brings nothing to Whyte.

I also agree that heavyweights are dumb, they all wait for the cash cows.

Whyte is something like Parker. I think both guys are done as true contenders.

They will probably have a rematch, because they are a good fight for each other.
