The man is Ghanian. Ike would o years without a fight, and come back and look like he had no rust.

Hopkins is the first that comes to mind. He still plans to keep fighting so why not fight now before his old ass keeps aging.

He cant hurt his career at this point. Guys like hopkins, mayweather, etc. they can afford to fight once or twice a year if they please (because they can).

How has Daniel Santos not had to make a voluntary defence of his title, the dude fights like once a year.

Maybe not as much now but Winky Wright still is and really has, hurt his career the last couple of years.

Monte Barrett hasn't fought since Haye scored the fluky KO. Two Gunz would be up and well on the way to being undisputed by now if he'd been active in 2009.

He fought once in 2008 and only once in 2009 so far with no opponents lined up.

This guy gets a pretty good buzz going around him and his KO record and rather than keeping his name out there he disappears (besides his troubles with the law).

Biggest upset of the year and arguably his best performance against Margarito and he spends the rest of the year chasing Pacquiao & Mayweather. Get in the ring and fight someone, anyone!

Good thread Natas. David Haye is the glaring one for me. I am sure it would have been wise to have taken even just a stay busy fight while ****ing around trying to get a fight with the Klitschkos. He is taking a huge risk with this inactivity because if this foray up to HW doesnt work,then he doent have nowhere else to go.
