Comments Thread For: Danny Garcia On Tank's KO Win Over Ryan Garcia: "I'm Not Surprised, He Gave In"

It didn't matter what Danny Garcia had going on April 22nd, the former two-division titlist made sure he cleared out his calendar and made a beeline to Las Vegas.

Pretty clear from the 2nd round on that Garcia wasn't in Tank's league. It wasn't even the skills for me (which I also think Tank is the more skilled of the two), for me it was more of how mentally superior Tank is over Garcia

I'm guessing you mean Hector Garcia, not Danny Garcia, whose name you mistakenly used for the entire article

The article is referring to Danny Garcia, it would be ironic for Hector Garcia to accuse Ryan of quitting when many felt he also quit against Tank earlier this year.

Ryan started off pretty well but soon as he got put down he just didn't have the confidence or experience to really switch anything up an gervonta showed he was a step ahead in everything. Ryan is a good athletic fighter but his ring IQ is just not up to par an tank was able to just fight his fight in the end. Little things like Tank pawing at his jab an stepping n an fighting in the clinch etc made a difference he took away Ryan's reach an his jab with that

              tank is from baltimore.

probably lived the life of a The Wire character.

ryan garcia comes from a big middle class family living in the suburbs.

              ryan garcia is soft.

and it showed in the fight. he could have gone the route of MAB who had means growing up and was never poor like a erik morales, but garcia never lived that life.

Nothing surprising. He's not trash by any means but Ryan loses to all top guys at that weight.
