Romero and Ryan are both front foot heavy. Tank eats guys like this alive. Guys like Shakur and Devin are very agile on their front foot, they will give Davis a run for his $.

People that study or practice boxing need to realize it starts with the feet. Jumping rope and shadow boxing (in the ring) are 2 drills that should never be skipped by any fighter. Hitting the Cobra bag or working head movement in front of a glove on a stick isnt going to beat an explosive fighter like Tank, fully hydrated or not.

Romero was doing fairly competitive against Davis, but I don’t think anyone had as good of a round against Davis as Garcia did in the 2nd round before Davis ran Garcia into that shot.
Davis said on a interview like two weeks ago that Romero was the hardest puncher he's faced as a pro an you could see that in there fight that when Rolly hit Davis clean he was getting a reaction like Davis wasn't badly hurt but you could tell he felt it an didn't wanna take to many. But his style of being on the front foot alot trying to press still played into Davis hand just like it did with Ryan who was doing very well in them first rounds but then got stung an dropped an then you could see confidence leave from him abit an the tide turned from there.

Tank fans aren't calling Garcia a bum, actually, its just the opposite. All of the people that were hoping for Ryan to knock out or beat Tank to stop his success, those people are now calling Ryan a bum after Tank knocked him out, in order to save face and not give Davis any credit for beating a good fighter.

If you think Ryan is good I have some magic pinto beans to sell you. The only top 10 140lber Ryan beats is Brandon Lee. He could maybe catch Jose Ramirez coming in but if he doesnt Ramirez would beat him like Maidana did Ortiz. Hell Id put $ on Jose Zepeda to starch Ryan, in fact I bet that fight happens next and Ryan loses.

hes not a bum but his resume is pretty slim, then when you factor in he hasnt fought at 135 or 136 in 2 and a half years with a rehydration clause? how much credit does someone deserve for that? why didnt tank fight barrios at 136 with a rehydrate clause? tank didnt beat an established fighter and he didnt beat a healthy fighter so whats left? more fantasy greatness

Ryan was top 4 or 5 at 135. He had a bunch of national championships, 200 amateur wins and 15 losses, beat Haney 3 times, and 23 wins and 19 KOs, with one of those KOs being Luke Campbell, an Olympic gold medalist. I don't know what he's going to do at 140, but so far, at 24 years old, he's been pretty good at 135.

and they didnt fight at 135, and they certainly didnt fight at 135 without a rehydration clause which is when garcia did all that. tank fough barrios at 140. he was scared and had to debilitate garcia who hadnt fought at 135 in 2 and a half years. i could understand fighting maybe at 138 or something but why the rehydration clause? added draining. very cowardly and pathetic and he had to do this to garcia? not even one of the best fighters at 135 or 140. shocking cowardice

Ryan has only fought 2 times at 140 and it wasn't because he chose to. He was coming off of long layoffs in between both fights, and Fortuna asked for 140 because he was coming off a long layoff as well.

Tank fought Barrios at 140 with no clause because he COULDN'T ask for one. Barrios was the regular champion and Davis was fighting him for the belt. So please, stop with the ****** excuses and comparisons.

Ryan didn't have a belt, and was stomping and yelling for the fight. Tank is a regular champion at 135 and stated right after the 1 fight he fought at 140, that 135 is the weight class that he fights in and is most comfortable. I can't make it any clearer than that. Now go back and play in your "We Hate Tank " threads with the rest of the goofs.
