    Should i join a gym

    hey guys

basically ive always been a huge boxing fan..ive seen most fights from the last 3 or 4 years live and seen a load of older fights

my knowledge of the sport is pretty high

about 5 years ago i joined a gym and started training to basically lose a lil weight but at the same time to learn about the sport as well

i was going there for about 5months and was sparring regularly and holding my own...then i fell from a high slide in a park and broke my arm badly needing screws an pins to hold it together ..i never went back the gym

lately since the pbf-jmm fight ive been having huge urges to go and start again...ive been shadowboxing in the mirror in the house and went out for a run everyday last week

my work is at its busiest from november to january 1st then it is dead round november to december we dont finish till around 8ish 6 days a week around january we finish early everyday and i will be able to go the gym no problem

my plan was to get in better shape and train by myself outside a boxing gym working on my physical condition losing weight toning myself

then in january il be in good shape and can join a boxing gym from square one

    opinions/advice appreciated

Yes join, even if it is for fun, it's the best thing a human being can do, I go at least 4 times a week but I'm lighting weights and I'm looking better than ever, I need a stick to keep them bitches off of me, true story.

Just do it man, you'll regret it if you don't when you get older and you'll feel better about yourself.

I love boxing, but I got no one that knows of it so I bodybuild, because you can do it alone.

Just make sure you tell the main trainer about your accident so you can go at a pace your comfortable with till your bodys fully recovered!!!

Yeah I recently went back to the gym in Apirl and it had been a few years since I went and put 100%. And damn there is no greater feeling then being in a gym, the smell of the sweaty leather, the atmosphere in itself just felt like home.

YES! I just joined a boxing gym last week and it is awesome. Classes are Mon,Wed, and Friday from 5-7 and it is by far the hardest work you will ever do but it is fun at the same time. You dont even have to compete, Im not going to, its just a great way to get in shape and do something you love. Go for it, you wont regret it.

Yes, get in shape for now. You'll do a lot better when you join the gym.
