hopkins versus a fighter his size or bigger with equal talent - hopkins loses

(as long as nunn doesn't come into the fight after completing a movie or just recently got ko'd, or some pre-fight distracting sh** that makes hopkins agree to the fight in the first place)

Hopkins would beat Nunn mentally, when Hopkins started fouling and winding Nunn up, Nunn would rise to it and get out of game plan and end up losing the fight, Hopkins was also adept at fighting left handers.

are you kidding me? @ 160 nunn beat everybody...toney was getting outboxed by nunn and was losing on the scorecards until he landed the home run shot on nunn...i'm willing to bet that jones watched nunn vs. toney to get ready for toney himself....@ 160 hopkins lost to jones and taylor, two speedy boxers who were the same size as hopkins...nunn was built in the same mold (actually he may have been taller and longer than nard) and would have outboxed hopkins easy....and nunn had one punch ko power in that right hook...hopkins got hit more at 160 early in his career, which was when this fight would have taken place...

Hopkins lost to a prime Roy Jones when he was green, Hopkins lost to Taylor when he was old.

Well ive seen 25+ of Hopins fight and ive seen Nunn vs Barkley, Rochigiani, Starling, Curry, Toney Roldan, Kalambay, Tate, Parker and i whilst Nunn had the talent and speed he did not have it upstairs to beat Hopkins, Hopkins only got hit at 160 when he was green, when he started to change his style after the Mercado fights he was slick and rarely ever got nailed, infact in all the Hopkins fights ive seen i would say only Echols and Mercado are the only ones to have nailed him good, Hopkins also has a terrific record against Southpaw's. The slicker Hopkins would frustrate Nunn whom was not very strong mentally, he did too much clowning in the ring.

Prime for Prime? I reckon Hopkins closes the show late on when behind on the cards, much like the toney fight, but probably a bit closer.
