I'm not sold on Benavidez being as great as people are making him out to be. The only reason he's got all these followers and all the Showtime promotion is because he's going to make them a boat load of money when they match him with Canelo. He's Mexican, he's undefeated, and he's got power...only 1 of those matter in the ring, and that last one is not something Canelo hasn't experienced before. Benavidez showed major *****s in his armor against Plant. He can be outboxed severely. Major credit to him if the Andrade match gets finalized, but Benavidez is flat-footed as hell. I'm not sold him in the slightest.

Tbh I wanna Bumavidez for the last huge PPV event for Canelo. Morrell and Bivol lack that department. But I also wanna see Bumavidez's a$$ whooping loss which will prevent his Canelo dream.

Benavidez is a hype job? Sure you could make an argument that he hasn't faced the same amount of competition as Canelo. You can also say you just don't like his fighting style. But he has already beaten two world champions and still has many years left as a pro.

Pretty sure Benavidez beats everyone Canelo fought at 168 and pretty handedly too.

If he beats Morrell, then there are no other options besides Bivol for Canelo.
